About the Role
The Consumer Bank Marketing Technology team is seeking a Web Experience Specialist to manage and elevate the experience our customers receive on the Retail Bank's web properties, with a heavy focus on cohesive, differentiated and tailored content. This person will be responsible for ensuring the content and structure of our web pages meets both the business goals and customer expectations. They will provide input on the structure & content for new page requests and existing page changes, as well as be "hands on" in building the final versions using our Enterprise Content Management System. It will be integral to the success of the job to work with key partners in marketing, across the enterprise and technology to bring the business need to life through a top-notch customer website experience. They should thrive in creative, fast-paced, and data-driven environments. This role will report to the Marketing Technology Leader for Web Experience and Marketing Orchestration.
Convert marketing strategy and campaign intake to page creation or updates
Assess web interaction data by segments and audiences to determine and implement content optimization opportunities for conversion and engagement
Obsess over customer entry points from search, emails, display, youtube, social, mass media etc and align/fine tune the content and structure to realize a cohesive digital experience for prospects and customers
As applicable, ensure the content and creative highlights product value prop in alignment with target segments
Continually implement page changes to drive funnel efficiency
Coordinate across marketing, creative, tech and enterprise teams to bring marketing web page updates to life
Implement and validate tagging per the tagging guidelines
Push boundaries in structure and content in a way that elevates Capital One's image as a Fintech with National Banking scale.
Hands on leverage of testing and experimentation tools like Adobe Target or Google Optimize to set up experience tests
Write creative briefs outlining proposed content strategy - ensure Creative team outputs align to the strategy
Execute the Build, QA and release of new and existing page changes in the enterprise Content Management System
Follow well-managed protocols and Accessibility guidelines for web experience changes
Coordinate on periodic user testing to incorporate voice of customer into the web experience
Communicate with marketing and other stakeholders on release timelines
Results focused: Results-oriented with a "can do" attitude and passion for maintaining well-managed processes while driving to successful resolutions
Tool and Tech savvy: Can be hands on in web content management, experimentation and web analytics tools
