Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the Business Office Supervisor provides oversight for the centralized scheduling team across Delaware. This position is responsible for assisting the Clinical Operations Director with administrative functions of the home health agency and supervising non-clinical office staff. This person will work Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm in our New Castle, DE office, will work out of the Camden, DE office as well, and is responsible for committing to holiday and weekends as required.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Uses technology, reports and oversight of assigned staff which ensures branch bills timely for services and submits any regulatory required documentation within required timelines or agency policy

Oversees all staffing schedules, including week day, weekend, on call and holiday and ensures for adequate staffing. Communicates staffing challenges timely to the Director. Ensures schedules are posted timely

Collaborates with billing department to facilitate proper billing, meet regulatory requirements and agency policies; works on billing reports daily to ensure timely filing of claims

Implements office processes and checklists which are efficient, in compliance with regulations/policies and enable the branch to use resources wisely and bill timely for services

Builds a dynamic, dedicated and responsive team, which delivers timely scheduling of services and an exceptional experience to our customers, patients and caregivers

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Associates Degree in business or a related field required; bachelors preferred

One year of management experience in health care required

One year of home health/hospice experience preferred
