Job Summary (Primary function):

This position is responsible for financial, analytical and budget support for various Development programs in Incyte's portfolio.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities):


Serve as lead Finance Business Partner across various Development programs

Create and maintain study budget templates

Build and maintain clinical study estimation tools

Create and maintain program level templates

Create high-quality financial reports for Development teams

Ability to perform financial analytics including (but not limited to) NPV, IRR, ROI, etc.

Other Ad-Hoc Requests related to Development programs



Monthly/Quarterly Activities:

Work with Development program leads to develop and manage all financial aspects of multiple Incyte Development programs

Monitor study actuals on a monthly basis and ensure appropriate amounts are expensed properly

Provide in-depth variance analysis for each clinical study

Lead Budgeting and Forecasting exercises for Development programs, including template creation and management

Lead all Financial analyses related to Portfolio governance meetings

Prepare accurate and meaningful reporting to Program teams on a regular basis

Other Ad Hoc requests and analyses as requested

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency):

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

MBA and/or CPA preferred

7+ years of work experience, preferably in an Accounting/Finance/Consulting roles

Previous Pharma/Life Science/Biotech/Clinical Study experience

Very strong excel skills including use of pivot tables, v-lookups and other excel functions

Demonstrated experience in developing high-level Powerpoint presentations

Experience with Hyperion Essbase is a plus, but not required

Positive work ethic, excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills with a high attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively
