Job Summary

Black & Veatch (BV) is seeking aRegional Science Lead / Science Writing Symposium & Mentorship Program Managerincludeleadinga regional science team organizing large events, mentorship, local training andresearch projectsatcountry(Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia) &regional-level to supportgrowthof capacity/capability for enhanced disease surveillance, reporting, and responseon behalf of an international assistance project.


Travel to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead implementor of international scientific program including national and regional level events, local training, and international mentorship

+ Coordinates science team requirements with the local logistics team

+ Manage team of local science staff or contractors providing direct feedback on scientific research abstracts

+ Lead implementation of multiple international scientific symposium events in the FSR region hosting 200+ participants

+ Lead coordinator of International Science Writing Mentorship Program (SWMP), including coordination of international subject matter expert mentorship of high potential researchers/research topics;
