We are currently seeking a Vice President/Director of Valuations to join our team Wilmington, DE. As a key member of the credit and pricing analytics leadership team, this individual will be responsible for driving business results through areas including growth and revenue strategies, optimization, risk management, and streamlining of processes in support of a healthy lending portfolio.
The VP/D will translate strategic priorities into a set of underwriting, reporting, modeling and other analytical priorities for their team. This individual should have the ability to represent the company and engage with key business stakeholders, suppliers, external partners and investors.
Working with various partners, the role will also have responsibilities of reporting, strategy implementation, strategy validation and ad-hoc analyses including customer segmentation, competitive analysis, performance monitoring, sensitivity analysis and modeling.

+ Develop the vision and set of objectives to optimize our lending portfolio
+ Lead team to conduct statistical analysis and develop profit-driven decision framework and risk strategies within risk appetite with full credit cycle view to drive healthy growth
+ Independently lead the entire project lifecycle for complex analysis, strategies and models
+ Partner with other leaders to define business priorities, align talent and resources and communicate progress to executive management
+ Drive profitable business growth via developing strategy optimization framework with full credit-cycle view
+ Understand the data environment to appropriately prioritize and set expectations for key reporting, modeling, and analytical priorities
+ Leverage traditional regression models and machine learning algorithms to understand the key drivers and estimate customer behaviors
+ Draw conclusions and influence at all levels of the organization
+ Organization development – hiring, developing and leading the efforts of others
+ Effectively prioritize competing initiatives across direct reports; translate strategic priorities into individual/team initiatives and manage expectations
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management or Computer Science)
+ 8+ years of experience in consumer lending (preferably in risk underwriting or risk portfolio management) driving informative risk decisions through analyses; Master’s or PHD degrees may offset experience
+ 4+ years of leadership experience, building and prioritizing teams and objectives based on company strategy
+ Advanced analytical skillset using tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python
+ Familiar with decision tree analyses and segmentation tools like CART, knowledge seeker, etc
+ Innovative and capable of developing creative solutions to complex, data-driven problems
+ Prior experience building advanced models using statistical analysis tools or machine learning
