+ Recruit, interview and hire Account Executives for sales territory(s) as defined by Regional Manager.
+ Provide ongoing training programs for sales staff relative to sales techniques, product and technical/regulatory/investor requirements. Conduct informational meetings on a consistent basis for developmental purposes.
+ Develop formalized business plans, sales strategies, reporting and quarterly/annual production goals.
+ Travel with Account Executives and provide constructive feedback via sales call critiques for existing and prospective accounts. Minimum of two days of appointments required to travel with Account Executive(s).
+ Maintain consistent contact with sales force and review performance.
+ Monitor pipeline performance on a daily basis; including tracking monthly volume, fall out, loan quality, etc..
+ Maintain familiarity (i.e. attending educational and industry seminars) with regulatory and industry standards and requirements.
+ Monitor sales force activity and industry trends and report information to Regional Manager.
+ Communicate and perform administrative duties with/for the company in a timely manner.
+ Attend broker functions and conferences.
+ Prospect, develop and maintain relationships with own broker base, if applicable.
+ Regularly stands for long periods of time while marketing at conferences/trade shows.
+ Constantly converses with and exchanges information with current/prospective accounts. Ability to express oneself while conducting informational meetings for sales force.
+ Typically observes surroundings and reads/follows directions on a regular basis while traveling to current/prospective accounts. Ability to traverse to destination (i.e. meetings, airplane)
+ Regularly reads, counts, and writes to accurately complete all administrative duties.
+ Minimum of two years’ experience in a Wholesale Mortgage sales field.
+ Working knowledge of technical underwriting guidelines for Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, FHA, VA products.
+ Advanced sales skills; demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques
+ Ability to identify and develop sales skills in Account Executives
+ Strong analysis and judgment skills
+ Strong interpersonal (written and verbal) communication and business relationship skills.
+ Detail orientation with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
+ Proactive and self-motivated.
+ Resourceful and strong problem-solving skills
+ Commitment to company values.
+ Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds when traveling and setting up/disassembling booth equipment.
This position is not available in Colorado.
