Job Summary

The Senior/Regional Project Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining quality manuals, standards, procedures, requirements, and guides for an office or business unit area to support the successful execution of projects as described in the Division’s Quality Management System (QMS). The Senior/Regional PQM has the authority to allocate assigned resources and make quality program execution decisions within the bounds set by Division requirements and project contractual commitments, and as directed by the Director of Quality Management Services or Director of Nuclear QA. The Senior/Regional PQM also functions as the project PQM for multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Initiation:

+ Review the contract scope of services for the client’s quality requirements to assist in the development of the following:

+ Project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP) in the digital PEP or Client Deliverable, as required

+ Project Quality Control Plan (QCP)

+ Participate in the Project Kickoff Meeting, discuss details about the project’s quality requirements, specific topics covered will be based on the project’s scope and applicable QMS requirements

+ Ensure that all pertinent quality activities are included in the Project Workplan and Schedule. Activities may include:

+ Project Assessment

+ Project Audits

+ Design Reviews outlined in the project QCP and Project Execution Plan (PEP)

+ Quarterly review/update of the PEP

+ Encourage projects to track and input Lessons Learned into the online tool

+ Compare Supplier/Subcontractor (Vendor) bid list against the Global Supplier Database (GSD)

+ Communicate with the PM, Project Team and Procurement Manager on issues such as:

+ Identification of new Vendors and their prequal
