The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for performing all tasks relative to specific position in a timely manner and meeting or exceeding supervisor’s communicated expectations. Responsible for receiving, pulling orders, preparing orders to ship, stocking inventory locations, and maintaining/staging of assigned inventory locations in a clean and orderly fashion. If applicable, will stage orders for couriers and other departments per predetermined routing process. Follows all applicable policies, procedures, and manufacturers guidelines.

Education:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

Experience:

Six months’ warehouse experience to include receiving, stocking, and picking supply orders; six months’ experience in skilled operation of material handling equipment. Experience in performing product inventory (cyclic and full).

One year warehouse experience to include receiving, stocking, and picking supply orders; one year experience skilled operation of hand truck; one year experience using manual and electric pallet jack (walk behind and riding); six months’ experience using electric forklift and order selector.

Computer/Software Knowledge:

Basic computer literacy

Use of inventory management system (i.e. McKesson Pathways) or equivalent; Electronic Scanners.

Licensure/Certification

Current driver’s license; must be at least 21 years of age, with no more than 3 moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years due to insurance carrier requirements

Certified in use of electric forklift operation up to 4,500 pounds, and electric stockpicker.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

• Able to operate large delivery trucks

• Proficient in the use of various types of material handling equipment (MHE); including electric powered Order Selector, Forklift, and Pallet Jacks.

• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
