JMT is seeking a BIM Manager with the desire to work within a fast paced, quality driven environment as part of a growing organization. The current organization is supported by highly competent BIM Designers, Engineers and Architects who are active users of Revit and BIM 360. The individual will provide oversight and coordination of BIM production. Overall goal is to increase productivity and efficiency for design teams while educating and supporting end users. The BIM Manager will be an integral member of the project and design team.
Typical work assignments center around facilities engineering, architecture, and design projects of varying sizes within the educational, public works, water/wastewater, transportation, transit, aviation, health care and corporate industries. JMT is seeking candidates with the motivation and desire to excel within the consulting engineering field while embracing challenges as opportunities for personal and professional growth within the organization.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
+ Manages model integration, Revit, and BIM 360 use across an integrated team of Engineers and Architects.
+ Provides guidance for design teams on model development and coordination.
+ Creates, updates, and manages BIM Standards and Content for use in project planning and design.
+ Applies best practices to design and production processes.
+ Develops model standards for clients
+ Identifies new technologies, and assists with training and knowledge sharing.
+ Interfaces with project managers on team capability requirements
+ Ability to communicate effectively with project managers and team members
+ Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field
+ 6-8 Years of BIM Experience
+ Experience in using Revit and AutoCAD products; AutoCAD Certification for Revit a plus
+ Model set-up and standards review experience
+ Revit family creation and modification experience
+ Management of BIM systems and standards as part of
