Job Description

HealthCore, Inc. seeks a Researcher Sr. in Wilmington, DE.

Duties: Perform observational health outcomes research studies. Develop research study protocols

detailing sophisticated observational study designs and methods such as case-control studies or cohort studies. Conduct review of administrative claims data to identify and propose study specific solutions to data or analytic problems. Analyze data research study data using industry standard as well as cutting-edge health economic analytical and statistical techniques and tools/software such as SAS, STATA, and R. Conduct cost or cost-effectiveness analyses to examine the economic benefits of different health interventions. Collaborate with research study team members to bring high quality reports, peer-reviewed publications, and presentations to clients into fruition. Represent and contribute research knowledge and expertise as part of regular research study discussions with client and other key opinion leaders.

Requires a Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience working with observational data in an applied research setting.  Additional requirements: 1 year of experience with epidemiologic analysis.  1 year of experience in a position that involves writing research study reports, publishing research findings in scientific journals, and presenting at meetings or congresses.  1 year experience using SAS, STATA, or R for analysis in an applied research setting.  1 year of experience with data analysis and advanced statistical modeling.
