Job Description
Citi Quality Engineering (CQE) within TTS Technology is looking for a seasoned Sr. testing manager with heavy experience managing complex programs, huge onsite & offshore teams, can articulate and implement best practices in testing of functional and technical enhancements to the Payments & Receivables platform. Purpose of this role will be to provide technical and business leadership to a geographically spread diverse testing teams, to bring automation, CICD frameworks implementation in place.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Works complex testing assignments.
+ Manage Testing for a broad range of systems and applications to ensure they meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
+ Have heavy focus on getting the team to automation end state
+ Review of Designs test plans, test cases and scripts.
+ Oversee Execution of test scripts according to application requirements documentation.
+ Creates meaningful reports with risks/statuses and can influence the teams
+ Documents, evaluates and researches test results for future replication.
+ Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
+ Analyzes requirements and design aspects of projects.
+ Interfaces with client leads and development organizations.
+ Exhibits sound understanding of concepts and principles in own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
+ Requires in-depth understanding of how own area integrates within IT testing and has basic commercial awareness.
+ Acts as advisor and mentor for junior members of the team.
+ Makes evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information in complicated and novel situations.
+ Has direct impact on the team and closely related teams by ensuring the quality of the tasks/services/information provided by self and others.
+ Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
Experience & Skills:
+ BS/Engineering or equivalent combination of education/experience
+ Intermediate to senior level experience in an IT testing role
+ Minimum 10 years testing experience with more than 5 years’ experience in managing multiple teams onsite and offshore.
+ Experience of integrated E2E testing across partner services
+ Flexibility to work on complex highly scalable and mission-critical enterprise projects with international scope.
+ Experience of working with vendors both on and off shore
