Job Description:

The Transaction Monitoring program is responsible for ensuring AML Monitoring and Investigations groups are appropriately executing procedures, reporting key performance indicators and driving for improvements in case investigations. This role manages the AML Transaction Monitoring and Currency Transaction Reporting policy execution functions for NAM Card & Retail Bank by identifying trends/issues, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending solutions that lead to corrective actions and/or enhancements to operational processes.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Key contact for NAM Cards & Retail Bank for CTR requirements, assessments, projects and reporting.

+ Managing the existing NAM Cards & Retail Bank risk closure process and identifying areas of opportunity for enhancements and added efficiency

+ Manage the existing AML Transaction Monitoring processes, specifically the flow of data from product processors to monitoring platforms

+ Liase with the KYC teams on oversight of work within the CitiKYC platform that overlaps with Transaction Monitoring requirements and processes as required per policy. This includes projects outlined for the KYC and Transaction Monitoring efforts in addition to coordinating related work stream functions across multiple lines of business.

+ Analysis of customer impact on the AML process and supporting Consumer Business Support Unit related to their AML work streams on an ongoing basis.

+ Creating and maintaining monthly report metrics that capture end to end process

+ Ability to proactively identify service gaps, process inefficiencies, technology opportunities and develop solutions.

+ Interpreting and fully understanding often changing policy related to Transaction Monitoring, Currency Transaction Reporting, and Risk Closures to ensure compliance of execution processes

+ Collaborating within business, across business/functional line management, and with key stakeholders to assess complex issues, structure potential solutions and drive effective resolution within permissible statutory and regulatory frameworks

+ Interaction with all levels of senior management in order to effectively communicate existing end to end processes and propose enhancement/efficiency opportunities

+ Providing guidance on new business initiatives, new products, and advise on complex transactions

Job Qualifications:

+ 6-10 years experience in one or more of the following areas: Risk, Operational Risk, Risk Operations, or Pro
