Kforce has a large financial institution seeking to hire a team Java Spark, Abinitio and Java Big Data Engineers in Wilmington (DE), Jersey City (NJ) and Plano (TX).   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years (8 Senior Role) of Application Development work experience
  • Minimum 2 years (4 Senior Role) of experience in design and delivery of ETL process development using Ab Initio, SQL and Unix shell scripts
  • Experience and ability with creating a road map in converting ETL (Abinitio) into Big Data is a must for Senior Role, critical for the team they eliminate ETL and move to a data pipeline programming mindset
  • Experience and ability to mentor/train engineers in the process of migrating ETL (Abinitio) into Big Data is a must for Senior Role and critical to the team’s success
  • Hands on experience in PL/SQL programming is preferred
  • Knowledge of any of Ab Initio tools like ACE, BRE, Continuous flow, Conduct>IT, Metadata Hub and EME is preferred
  • Knowledge of application development using Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Experience in technologies such as Java, J2EE, Control-M, XML, PERL, Messaging, Informatica is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
  • Help to develop test cases and plans to complete the unit testing and support System testing
  • Participate in design reviews / code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation
