As a member of Saint Francis LIFE’s team, the Senior Accountant will focus on all activities related to Accounting, Financial Reporting & Analysis and Part D Administration. This includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, revenue management, IBNR and financial reporting. This includes the handling of month-end processing tasks such as analyzing and preparing journal entries and the preparation and documentation of expenses on the company credit cards. This includes Part D monitoring and reporting functions. This individual will be the primary person responsible for analyzing, reporting and presenting the pharmacy utilization data to leadership, as well as, reviewing and responding to required information needed by our pharmacy and PBM. This position will also assist in auditing, analysis, data collection and reporting for compliance with CMS Audits which include Part D Financial Audits and Annual Part D Bid Submissions.
Baccalaureate degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
Five or more years’ experience in an accounting or business administration role.

+ Must have a working knowledge of health care administration and business accounting

+ Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills. Must have the ability to meet strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy, ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a highly automated setting and possess strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to concentrate in depth, continuously and manipulate detail to arrive at summary data
