ChristianaCare Women's Health at Glasgow is looking for an Office Assistant.

ChristianaCare Women's Health at Glasgow is located at 2600 Glasgow Avenue, Suite 207 in Newark, Delaware. You will be here to support them as expert, caring partners in their health and to guide them to total wellbeing.

As an Office Assistant you will field phone calls, answer patient questions, schedule new and follow-up appointments, register patients, update record, and represent the entire practice every time there is interaction with a patient.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm

Job duties & responsibilities:
Schedules appointments.
Answers multi line telephones and retrieves accurate messages.
Manages front desktop.
Collects payments according to insurance requirements.
Applies ICD9 & CPT4 codes to encounter forms for billing purposes.
Performs outreach calls for the team.
Interacts between physicians, staff, and patients to provide accurate communication and customer service.
Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
Performs other related duties as required.

Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED required.
Medical receptionist or medical assistant degree preferred but not required.
Experience in a medical office setting or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
