Large regional firm is seeking a Compensation and Benefits (C& B) Manager to lead all aspects of organization’s compensation, benefits, HRIS, and payroll, strategies, policies, and program designs, for all workshops. This position will be a key business partner to Human Resources colleagues, and the Leadership Team to ensure that all programs are aligned with the Company’s strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, the C& B Manager will have ownership of the following key areas:

- Designs programs to attract, retain and engage a highly skilled workforce, while maintaining compliance, internal equity, and desirability.

- Leads the evaluation and alignment of individual positions and job levels to ensure career framework and compensation structure.

- Owns all activity related to published compensation surveys throughout the year and audits survey output, market trends and competitive pay positions.

- Leads, implements, and coordinates health and welfare and retirement programs ensuring competitive, sustainable, cost-effective plans and programs for all employees.

- Establishes and manages compensation and benefits related budgets, provides forecasts and actuals, prepares accruals, and provides audit support as needed.

- Provides accurate and detailed models and projections for staff costs-related projects and initiatives such as compensation plan changes, benefits plan changes, organizational changes, and headcount scenarios.

- Coordinates the annual compensation review process (ICR) to ensure successful delivery.

- Oversee COBRA benefits administration and manage the third-party carrier

- Prepare compensation proposals.


- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Human Resources, or other relevant field of study

- Finance experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or hospitality, is plus

- 4+ years of proven compensation, benefits, HR operations/systems experience with a minimum of 3 years in leading C& B strategies, plans, and initiatives.

- Knowledge of leading practices and external trends in compensation, benefits, and HR systems.

- Knowledge of current practices in equity plan administration including strong capacity in understanding and managing plan provisions, understanding implications of plan changes and related

- Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance for benefit plans

- Advanced proficiency in Excel required.
