The Role

This position performs basic to intermediate analysis and works closely with Operations, Engineering, Lumen vendors, excavators and property owners to resolve billed damage claims. This role is responsible to meet scope, timing, budget expectations and overall project outcomes. Applicant must have the ability to understand invoicing, validate cost, supporting data and work with damagers to resolve disputes. This role will also require applicants to help drive special projects as needed.

Location and Schedule

+ This is a Work from Home position.

+ Monday – Friday; Shift options depending on availability or need: 7-4 / 8-5 / 9-6

The Main Responsibilities

+ Partner with internal stakeholders and damagers to recover costs of damages.

+ Ability to review construction and damage reports, determine next steps for a damage and drive to completion.

+ Assess/Manage risk, identify potential alternatives and escalate as required to the appropriate level of management.

+ Self-motivated, able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in a time sensitive environment.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required Qualifications:

+ Analytical and decision-making skills

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Candidate should be a strategic thinker who can identify gaps in processes and work to close those gaps and improve the process

+ Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent.

+ 3-5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 1+ years of related experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or collections

+ MS Office skills

+ Experience in analytics utilizing financial data

+ Takes initiative to ask questions and proactively problem solve


The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$51,410 – $68,540 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD

$54,110 – $72,140 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY

$56,820 – $75,750 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$59,520 – $79,360 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
