Data Transfer and De-conversion Analyst

What does a successful Data Transfer and De-conversion Analyst do at Fiserv?

You will work directly with Fiserv clients to transfer or de-convert their existing card portfolios. You will be a part of a team, comprised of project managers, data analysts, and programmers who perform an initial review of a client’s requirements, write the programs and processes, and assist with the testing and loading process.

What you will do:

+ Cobol programming and running of implementation job streams

+ Test and validate output, reports, and financial balancing

+ Technical data mapping analysis

+ Deliver and execute project milestones for the full project life cycle from initiation through project closure

+ Design and document complex technical requirements for business applications

+ Partner with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions

+ Ensure quality of conversion suite including holding quality inspections, debug complex code and processes

+ Build partnerships with clients, product owners, application development teams, and program management colleagues

What you will need to have:

+ 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows, COBOL, Mainframe applications, IBM JCL, and TSO/TPX

+ 3+ years of IT or Business Analysis experience

+ 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience

What would be great to have:

+ 3+ years of de-conversion experience preferred

+ Experience with and knowledge of Fiserv production programs and processes

+ Experience in stakeholder management

+ Understanding of the Issuing Industry and associated products

+ Experience in converting to new processing platforms
