The Commercial Banking Operational Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support to members of the Commercial Loan Operations team. The incumbent will be responsible for handling sensitive information and for maintaining professionalism in interacting with all levels of the organization, as well as with external constituents.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage communication regarding loans and the status of loan in the loan operations pipeline.
  • Sorting all commercial loan document packages after closing and placing in associated nCino record.
  • Liaison with the loan documentation team as it relates to the final distribution of Letters of Credit.
  • Scanning of all insurance documents into the core operating system related to active loans.
  • Receive deliveries and distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain and order office supplies.
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical as it pertains to the ongoing servicing of loans.
  • Manage the overnight mail process and delivery of necessary documents.
  • Manage and assists with projects of various levels as assigned.
  • Communicate regularly with all levels of Associates within the Commercial Division and with external contacts/business partners, such as Customers, vendors, etc.
  • Make independent decisions on a regular basis concerning matters that vary in significance, some of which will not have prior precedent.
  • Seek out information that will assist with problem resolution and partner accordingly with the appropriate parties in order to reach a desired outcome.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a strong degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt to ever changing list of priorities.
  • Must possess a willingness to assist in any and all projects.
  • Must be proficient using MS Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as good listening ability.
  • Must have superior Customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent problem solving abilities.
