Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join the Chemistry manufacturing team at Newport, the team is responsible for the consistent and high quality production of all our HPLC particle stationary phases.


As a member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of chemical operations using chemicals and solvents in accordance with Agilent's standard operating procedures and safety requirements. This will include:

Keeping detailed, accurate and legible paper and computerized records of production.

Set up and operate equipment following standard procedures and work instructions.

Conduct tests, experiments and/or problem resolution associated with our processes/systems.

Work with technical and engineering teams to support troubleshooting of any process issues.

Provide suggestions on potential improvement opportunities in quality, product, processes, and efficiencies.


B.S. in science related field or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred

Ability to work 1st shift (Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM)

3+ years of related manufacturing experience

Willingness to work overtime as the business requires, including weekends

Basic computer skills /advanced applications

Preferred skills:

Demonstrated chemical operations experience

SAP experience preferred
