Job Description

The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Responsible for performing Quality Control laboratory analysis testing in support of membrane development and manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Top priority is to ensure safe completion of all tasks and keeping all related training up to date.
Perform high volume, often routine Quality Control lab analysis.
Communicate results in a timely fashion to support the manufacturing. process.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
Perform a variety of lab tests (product performance tests, Karl Fischer, GC, UV etc.)
Perform calibration and selected preventive maintenance of lab equipment
Work with laboratory personnel and contacts to ensure supplies are maintained and instrument maintenance is appropriate for laboratory
Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the lab and company (method evaluations, quality functions, quality assurance issues, housekeeping, etc.).
Safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and ensuring that spent materials are disposed of in appropriate receptacles on-site.__________________Are you a MATCH?
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required
2+ years experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in chemical industry
Mechanical aptitude, adept in the assembly of tube/pipe fitting type samples.
Good computer skills required (scientific instrument software, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be able to succeed in a team environment with good communication skills including presentations to customers
Demonstrates strong process and operational safety behavior at all times.
Strong command of English language, written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years with appropriate instrumentation and data interpretation in a production laboratory environment
Initiative and self-motivation
Good organization skills
Ability to work under time pressure on multiple requests
Working Conditions
This position is presently a second shift assignment
Must be able to work an offshift & weekends with possible callins and overtime.

Job Grade: Hourly-7
The hourly rate range for this position in "Delaware" is $21.75
