Under the direction of ChristianaCare's Chief Compliance Officer, the Director of Billing & Clinical Compliance and Privacy will be responsible for oversight, management, and development of the professional billing and clinical compliance program. Oversees audit, monitoring, and education for coding and documentation programs that ensure compliance and provides billing providers with relevant and timely information regarding audit results and risk areas. Oversees clinical compliance and privacy auditing and monitoring and education including but not limited to developing, conducting, assessing, and documenting results for professional and hospital/clinical coding, and other relevant areas. Serves as the Enterprise-wide professional billing and clinical compliance subject matter expert.

Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; Masters/Advanced degree preferred.
Clinical background preferred (i.e., LPN, RN, etc.)
Physician based (CCS-P) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification preferred.
