The Role

As the Senior Marketing Scrum Master Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, coordination and alignment of multiple Scrum Masters within our Marketing Operations organization. You will play a pivotal role in managing our marketing Scrum Masters by overseeing the successful execution of marketing projects while championing agile methodologies through Scrum. This role involves strategic planning, project coordination, team management, and ensuring the successful delivery of marketing initiatives. You will act as a facilitator, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving among the scrum masters, while promoting a culture of agility and continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be on driving the successful delivery of marketing initiatives and projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the strategic objectives of the organization.

The Main Responsibilities

+ Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the scrum masters, promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture across the marketing department.

+ Foster an environment of team, trust, transparency, and effective communication among the scrum masters, encouraging open discussion and problem-solving.

+ Collaborate closely with marketing stakeholders, product owners, and other key stakeholders to align on priorities, objectives, and dependencies.

+ Identify and manage interdependencies between scrum teams, ensuring effective coordination and synchronization of efforts.

+ Facilitate cross-team problem-solving, issue resolution, and decision-making to ensure smooth progress of marketing initiatives.

+ Champion agile principles, frameworks, and best practices within the marketing department.

+ Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the scrum masters, identifying opportunities to optimize communication, collaboration, and efficiency.

+ Promote the adoption of agile tools and techniques, encouraging the use of data-driven metrics and reporting to measure team performance and project outcomes.

+ Monitor the progress and performance of marketing initiatives and projects, ensuring they stay on track and meet the desired outcomes.

+ Provide regular updates and reports on the status of projects, key metrics, risks, and dependencies to marketing leadership and stakeholders.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address any issues, risks, or bottlenecks that may impact the delivery of marketing initiatives.

What We Look For in a Candidate

+ Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing project management or a related role.

+ Strong understanding of agile principles, Scrum frameworks and methodologies.

+ Scrum Master certification (CSM) required and Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.

+ Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

+ Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools, as well as marketing software and platforms.


The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$111480 – $139343 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$117340- $146678 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$123210 – $154013 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$129080 – $161348 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
