Job Description

Description Our client, located in Wilmington, De , is looking to hire a hands-on IT Manager in a permanent capacity.

Develop and maintain project plans affecting information systems. Provide and update well-defined plans including procedures, documentation, deadlines and accountability. Supervise and direct the IT functions of the credit union to ensure that in-house systems, programming, networking, installations, and operations support the credit union’s goals and objectives. Facilitate and manages the development, modification and operation of security protocols including intrusion detection and prevention systems to protect the Firms’ information from breach or loss. Develops and/or provides training and guidance on acceptable use, risk management, incident response, and security protocols for employees and volunteers. Research industry trends in technology to ensure the credit union remains competitive in its product and service offerings. Keep abreast of changing trends in technology to include hardware, networks and network tools, software and systems. Prepare applicable reports as necessary. Act as primary contact for all application systems, and vendors. Hire, supervise, and direct IT staff, continually evaluates performance of IT staff, focuses on employee development and cross trains IT staff. Ensure department coverage including afterhours support. Ensure support is provided to internal staff in a detail oriented, courteous, and timely manner. Create and maintain system and application documentation of environments, processes and procedures. Recommend and update as needed while complying with regulations. Back up Information Technology staff as needed. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
