Job Description
The primary focus of this position is to assist the Facilities Maintenance and Transportation Services Director in facilitating the daily duties of the Transportation Department.
This listing is representative of the duties and responsibilities of the position, but is not to be construed as all inclusive:
• Train employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving appropriate problems.
• Arrange for the company vehicle repairs as needed and ensure that all buses are well maintained and cleat at all times.
• Schedule coverage for all routes for vacations and other absences.
• Ensure that all Transportation drivers are properly trained and licensed and that they have annual physicals and drug/alcohol tests fulfilled as required.
• Maintain Transportations Program’s compliance with all applicable laws and Agency policies.
• Covers all absent bus routes in the event of a vacation or call out as needed.
• Assist with the retrieval of any out of service CHEER vehicles on the road.
• Contributes to team effort by performing other related duties as assigned or required.
