Description Solenis is seeking an experienced Finance professional to lead the Americas Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, supporting the Chief Business Officer of the Americas. This role will have you support the Americas team on all financial matters including pricing execution, volume growth, mix enhancement, plant utilization, margin expansion, SG&A, and Operating Profit management. The position is highly visible in the organization and offers excellent growth potential. You are someone who has experience of being at the helm of FP&A (or similar) teams, and utilizes a data led approach to help the Business execute on its financial objectives. You will own the operating plan, forecast, and strategic planning processes for the area of focus, and possess critical thinking skills to understand and influence the contents, assumptions, and rationale behind financial projections. Additionally, we are looking for you to lead the Americas organization in defining, tracking, and improving performance on key growth metrics. You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of materials for the C-Suite and Board of Directors. This includes communicating results, bridging actuals versus against plan/forecast prior year, price/volume/mix analysis, and identifying gaps in performance. You will strategically partner with the Americas Leadership Team and work closely with other key Finance heads. We would look to you to build strong relationships and trust with Finance and non-Finance heads within the organization. Naturally, this position requires knowledge of financial and consolidation systems to spur speed, automation, and condense detailed forecasts/budgets/actuals into actionable outputs. Some of your responsibilities: The monthly reporting process for sales through Direct Operating Profit, including segmentation of product lines, markets, corporate accounts, etc. Analytics to support internal growth initiatives, monthly insights, and performance management. Take charge of the annual planning, forecast, and strategic planning processes for the Americas. Partner with Operations FP&A to fully connect supply/demand. Support potential Mergers and Acquisitions Process Improvement, Ad Hoc analysis, and Business Decision Support Directly manage and mentor a team of approximately 10 on-shore resources located in the USA and Brazil and approximately 15 off-shore resources located in Hyderabad, India Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or another relevant field 10+ years of professional work experience ideally including P&L management, business partnership, and planning/analysis of actual results. Strong communication skills, able to distill messages to critical action items. Business Partner mentality, helping internal customers achieve their critical objectives.
