ChristianaCare Comprehensive Pain Center is looking for a Medical Assistant. ChristianaCare Comprehensive Pain Center is located at the Newark Campus, in the Medical Arts Pavilion 1 building. ChristianaCare Comprehensive Pain Center offers a wide range of non-opioid treatment options for patients with acute and chronic pain. You will be joining a practice where the providers are committed to offering therapies focused on alleviating pain while supporting the ChristianaCare mission to reduce dependence on opioid medications. ChristianaCare understands that chronic pain is complex and often challenging to treat. That's why you are needed to join the ChristianaCare Comprehensive Pain Center. You will join a fantastic team of one physician, two advanced practice clinicians, one access coordinator, one medical assistant, and one office assistant. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 4:15pm Potential of traveling to the Wilmington Campus for cross-coverage with the Physiatry practice Compensation / Benefits: Full Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, etc. Two retirement planning offerings, including 403(b) with company contributions. Education Requirements: High School Graduate or GED required. A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
