Job Summary

As one of the world’s largest banks, Chase Commerce and Community Banking (CCB) operates at considerable scale, and it’s complex system architecture is a reflection of that scale. This complexity can be challenging for Chase’s key business partner organizations to understand, navigate, and integrate with. This is where the Partner Capabilities Advocate comes in. You will be an experienced technical professional and communicator who serves as the senior point of contact for understanding our Partner’s technical profiles, and working with various Product and Tech teams to ensure that the Partners’ needs are accounted for in terms of Chase systems’ stability, reliability, performance, etc.

Job Responsibilities

+ Own and populate the Partner Technical Knowledge Hub with architectural, application, and infrastructure information for Partner-facing capabilities

+ Understand partner contract terms and SLAs that require support for Partner-facing capabilities

+ Establish and maintain tech-to-tech relationships with key operators and leaders within the Product and Tech teams for Partner-facing capabilities.

+ Translate partner feedback on Chase operations into actionable changes to improve CCB Tech processes

+ Act as an escalation point to coordinate and prioritize the resolution of partner-impacting incidents and issues across Chase technical teams

+ Monitor partner contractual technical SLAs against internal standards and ensure those SLAs are met

+ Report technical SLA updates and partner-impacting issue reports to partners and internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

+ 6+ years of professional experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior internal stakeholders and third party partner representatives

+ Proven professional experience and at least a conversational understanding of a wide range of systems and architectures (i.e. web, front end, mid-range, host, APIs, and networks)

+ Experience with industry standard (i.e. ITIL) technology operational processes, with an emphasis on incident management

+ Significant experience with agile, waterfall, and hybrid technology implementation processes

+ Significant professional experience in matrixed technology environments, with a demonstrated ability to be influential across teams at both a tactical and strategic level

+ Demonstrated high level of verbal and written proficiency communicating to a broad audience of consumers at multiple levels of an organization, to include a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience, and to package an internal message appropriately prior to sharing with external partners.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

+ Knowledge of Chase CCB’s technical systems, architecture, and functional flows.

+ Knowledge of the technology that supports credit card operations and capabilities.

+ Established relationships across Chase’s technical teams that support the credit card systems and flows

+ Understanding of the credit card capabilities that are exposed to and consumed by Chase CCB’s external strategic partners
