Join the Solenis North American Product Management Team, Industrial Business Unit as a Product Management & Marketing Director responsible for driving overall growth of Products within your Business Unit. The Director of Product Management & Marketing Industrial is accountable for the P&L results for multiple products lines. This role is pivotal to business growth and will be responsible for leading a team of more senior Product Managers to develop 3-5 year strategies, able to make complex strategic decisions, sets the direction for future products lines through the R&D pipeline.
We are seeking an experienced, high impact, results driven leader that has The Strategic Mindset that can accelerate growth, evaluate value enhancing business models, and drives and supports integration efforts. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in developing talent, driving engagement in the team to deliver exceptional results, and experienced in unlocking business insights. This role is pivotal to the Solenis organization and supports and drives a significant intersection of the business that touches supply chain, innovation, quality, regulatory, applications, and sales.
Responsibilities Include the Following
Lead and Develop the Business Plan for assigned business unit that links to a 3-5-year regional strategic growth plan by collaborating with global and cross functional counterparts to drive growth (price, vol, mix)
Establish KPI's and track performance of the business unit linked to strategic objectives
Create value enhancing business models and drive efficiency improvements in the team through establishing industry standard best practices
Responsible for vetting CAPEX investment projects for Industrial used to drive incremental growth
Identifies new markets, competitive threats, and disruptive technologies that can impact long term growth initiatives
Manage the total business unit Product Roadmap inclusive of individual (Multi-Generational Product Plans) to ensure a great fit remains between customer needs, internal capabilities, and growth and profit objectives.
Build top to top relationships with external customers and internal sales, marketing, business development, R&D technology, supply chain, manufacturing, product stewardship, quality, and other functions.
Lead monthly product reporting and strategy reviews
Lead and coach a team of more senior product managers
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in technical, engineering, or business-related field.
10+ years of professional work experience ideally including prior experience in Applications, Sales, Global Marketing, and R&D.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build strong results driven teams
Expert business and financial acumen with holistic view of profitability.
Drives engagement and alignment to a broader strategic vision and collaborates to share vision with key stakeholders
Ability to influence others and build positive working relationships across all business functions.
Proficiency with financial modeling, business models
Strong organizational development skills and organizational savvy
