Job Description
Owen Steel is seeking a Machine Operator. Applicant should be able to program CNC machines, operate saw, python and drill line machines in a structural steel environment. Have knowledge of mig welding, be able to read drawings, check dimensions and make required corrections, know how to estimate structural weights, convert decimals to fractions, be able to accurately read a tape measure, read and use structural shapes charts, know color charts for grades of steel, know layout and multing techniques to maximize material yields, know production process and should be a certified crane operator.
Rate of Pay is commensurate with experience.
