Senior Associate, Risk Control Tester
The Senior Risk Associate Control Tester performs a key risk management role to help ensure that established controls are designed and operating effectively and compliant with corporate standards. We are seeking individuals who appreciate AML risks and processes, while possessing critical thinking and analytical skills to support a quality control program in the AML Data, Infrastructure, and Analysis (DIA) organization. The candidate should have prior experience in Risk or Process Management coupled with experience in Anti-Money Laundering processes.
Collaborate with control owners to establish test plans for new controls and update existing plans as needed
Gather documentation, evidence, and previous assessments
Execute test plans for execution effectiveness while considering design and operational effectiveness of established controls
Understand how controls are/are not mitigating their associated risk(s)]
Produce defendable outcomes including comprehensive documentation
Detail Oriented; Thoroughly document results and communicate with stakeholders
Document and socialize associated issues for controls with ineffective ratings
Provide and track recommendations for control improvements that do not affect ratings (e.g. for efficiency gain)
Support Audits, Quarterly Attestations, and Annual Assessments
Meet deadlines and self-manage work
Perform repeatable processes efficiently
Work independently with little oversight to execute testing
Work collaboratively with peers to ensure coverage and to advance the testing program
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least one year experience in Risk Management or Anti-Money Laundering or Process Management or Quality Assurance
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
2 years experience in AML or Compliance
2 years experience in Risk Management, Process Management, or Quality Assurance
1 year of experience in SQL querying
1 year experience managing JIRA stories
Experience with Google Sheets; (vlookup; IF calculations; Pivot Tables)
