This opportunity engages you directly with the dynamics of a highly technical global team. As a member of the team, you will be directly involved in the technical and business decisions that drive high-impact and long-range sourcing initiatives to support Supplier Quality. As a part of Agilent's Instrument Manufacturing Procurement Team you will work alongside talented professionals who help make Agilent one of the world's leaders in the industry. You'll have the opportunity to network with other Agilent divisions, external suppliers and contract manufacturers as you devise unique ways to achieve superior business results.Responsibilities:
Ensuring that electrical parts and assemblies meet our high expectations for quality, reliability, cost and product safety.
Being directly involved in driving supplier quality programs and setting strategic direction.
Working in partnership with Agilent manufacturing, contract manufacturers, and R&D to ensure material supply, improve designs, reduce costs, and prevent defects.
Working on the development and implementation of the technology roadmap and advancing the use of technology in production.
Working as a global team member to develop and implement worldwide sourcing strategies.
Required Qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. degree or University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering experience.
Typically 4+ years' relevant experience for entry to this level
Knowledge of printed circuit assemblies, power supplies, electronic assemblies or high voltage circuits.What could make you stand out:
