We are currently seeking a Senior Transportation Project Planner in our office in Wilmington, DE.   Assignments may include managing and conducting a variety of transit, transportation and land use studies, freight plans, multimodal corridor studies, and active transportation plans as well as public engagement for complex transportation projects.


Support transit/transportation planning projects throughout the region, conduct public outreach and engagement, support ongoing and new projects using GIS and data analytics, help pursue planning projects throughout the region.

Position may include working at client site(s).


  • Bachelor’s degree in planning or a related discipline
  • Transit experience preferred
  • AICP certification or ability to obtain AICP certification within one year of date of hire
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in transit, multimodal transportation and land use planning; a graduate degree may be substituted for a portion of this experience
  • Experience and interest in public and stakeholder outreach
  • Superb writing and oral communications skills
