 Description/Job Summary
The Clinician on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team is the heart and soul of the Team. They often times take on the most complicated cases that see the least amount of progress. The Clinician is able to navigate all of the aspects of therapy and substance abuse (Counseling, making contacts in rehabilitation facilities, determining what is needed to ensure a smooth transition when a Consumer states that they are ready for treatment, etc.). Working Conditions: Unusual Environmental Conditions - Inside and outside work area. Environment may be noisy at times. Necessity to practice universal precautions at all times due to possible exposure to infectious disease. 
 
 Responsibilities/Duties
Conduct screening and assessments Assist in the development of recovery plans and reviews in collaboration with the Consumer Document treatment contacts using collaborative documentation. Demonstrate the ability to provide treatment that is recovery-oriented. Provide empirically supported individual and/or group psychotherapy utilizing approaches such as CBT, DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Seeking Safety Provide education to team members regarding assessment and interventions Provide culturally competent services that are individualized to client needs and reflect the integration of their race, color, religious creed, disability, handicap, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender, gender expression, national origin, age and sex Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
 
 Required Experience
At least one year of experience required.
 
 Required Education

-Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field PLUS one year of experience
 
 Required Qualifications

-Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field PLUS one year of experience
-Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
-Valid Driver's License, current car insurance and own vehicle to be used while working. (Mileage reimbursement)

The mission of Resources of Human Development (RHD) is to provide caring, effective and innovative services that empower people of all abilities as they build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities. RHD's multi-faceted programs serve people with a variety of challenges that include intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance abuse and homelessness. The DE ACT Team provides non-traditional, community-based mental health treatment to promote the recovery and community integration of 100 adults with serious mental illnesses.
