Job Summary (Primary function)
The Project Manager, Global Pharmaceutical Development is based in the Global Headquarters in Wilmington, DE (USA), reporting to the Vice President, Global Pharmaceutical Development. This Project Manager plays a key role in operationalizing the alliances and partnerships' projects, as well as coordinating small molecule project development activities - including regulatory responses - within process chemistry, pharmaceutical and analytical development, and also CMO's. The Project Manager has global exposure and requires advanced project management capabilities as well as negotiations skills.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
Coordinate information and data sharing to existing alliances' partners, as well as for internal development programs with different functions within TechOps, outside of TechOps (i.e. Regulatory CMC) and with CMO's.
CMC information and data including "trade secret" watermark addition on every pages.
Information and data repository building, folder organization (i.e. Intralinks).
Prepare and organize documentation as part of strategic partnership evaluation.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Establish project success criteria and disseminate said criteria to involved parties throughout project.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Identify, with department managers, the required personnel to contribute to assigned projects.
Effectively communicate project expectations, accountability and status to team members and to/between stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Compile documents and records for alliance partners
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
Bachelor's Degree or relevant certificate in Project Management.
Scientific background preferred.
Fluent in English.
7 or more years of experience in managing and delivering global projects successfully - in scope, on time and within budget.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels.
Proactive, pragmatic and able to work independently.
Ability to prioritize multiple demands and deliver on time - strong sense of duties' segregation.
