The role
The role of Digital Channels Governance Lead will report to the Enterprise Digital Governance (eDG) Director and will be supporting the operationalization of digital strategies, initiatives, and engagements by simplifying processes, mitigating risk and proactively anticipating shifts in the digital landscape on behalf of the enterprise. The preferred candidate is a team-oriented individual who thrives on unpacking complex fact patterns, identifying and building strategic connections and finding the balance between compliance and innovation.
The role will have the following responsibilities:
+ Support and facilitate the collaboration among lead global support functions (information technology, privacy, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, legal, compliance, medical, etc.) and divisional business units (research, manufacturing, commercial, corporate) to increase, maintain, and evolve compliance in the digital landscape.
+ Liaise with global support function subject matter experts in identifying areas of risk and opportunities for efficiency to increase and maintain proactivity in the digital landscape.
+ Assist business units in navigating nuances of the global and local digital landscape; particularly pertaining to strategies, efficiencies in Ways of Working, and regulatory changes.
+ Actively engage in cross divisional initiatives in the creation, curation and connection of digital policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
+ Support, develop and manage ongoing communications plans for executive steering committees, leadership teams, action teams, steward support networks, digital champions, and business unit stakeholders; including but not limited to meetings, workshops, forums, onboarding, and training.
+ Coordinate, track and regularly report on on-going stakeholder engagements, project delivery statuses for prioritized workstreams along with key interdependencies and challenges.
+ Help to define, measure and maintain visibility over near and long-term KPIs / success metrics and milestones.
+ Support global markets in internal and external audits as they relate to digital activities by coordinating the aggregation of required documentation, curation of records and designing and executing remediation plans for gaps identified (if any).
+ Support the dependencies across governing policies and standard operating procedures for digital channels, which include but are not limited to web, mobile, and chatbots.
+ Support and expand understanding of and adherence to the compliance framework in place for social media
Required education, qualifications, and experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent from an accredited university
+ At least 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment within the governance, compliance and/or risk functions
+ Must have 3+ years of program management experience and be able to plan, prioritize and track a multi-dimensional program that involves complex processes, cross functional roles and responsibilities and high leadership visibility
+ Proven experience in documenting, diagramming and building visual workflows and presentations of highly complex business processes and challenges
+ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ High degree of interpersonal skills with ability to positively influence policy/process evolution, adoption and change management across the organization
+ Forward thinking with the ability to quickly identify not only existing gaps, but also potential gaps and proactively identify solutions
+ Quickly and easily adapts to changing business and/or organizational needs and priorities
