Job Description

Responsibilities:

A role in the Risk Governance & Control team affords an opportunity to learn about the various functions in the Retail Bank and Mortgage Risk Management and other lines of business within Citi.

Relevance of issues and the analysis of common threads of data across these entities has made this role evolve into a far-reaching role where solutions to problems need to be innovative and executable, while at the same time being sound and controlled. This position is unique in that it will afford the candidate opportunities within many separate aspects of the US Personal Bank Risk Management spectrum of work.

Control Program Execution, Enhancement and Review:

? Contribute to the development of new techniques and improvement of processes and work- flows by applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge and integrating subject matter and industry expertise within Risk Management.

? Participate in the execution, enhancement, and review of the control program across the US Personal Bank businesses (Branded Cards, Citi Retail Services, Retail Bank and Mortgage).

? A variety of Universal (common) controls will be executed and reported on by the person in this role, which includes responsibility for ongoing enhancement, as well as contributing to effective communication to ensure compliance across the Risk organization.

? Automation of controls will be a key area of focus and participate with other groups within the Risk Management team, as well as US Personal Bank Chief Administrative and Technology partners to drive alignment and adopt best practices.

? Assist with Issue Management, Risk Governance, Portfolio Monitoring and Controls data quality and communication decks for Senior Leadership.

? Communicate to various levels of management, and generate high-level presentations with varying frequency, depending upon the needs of the business.

? Participate in developing, testing, and optimizing credit policies, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance, and assist in the implementation of those policies, processes, and other related initiatives.

? Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

? Min 5 yrs. of Risk Experience

? Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals

? Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a sense of urgency

? Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects

? Proven interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills

Education:

? Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
