As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks, and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers and communities. You will support the Card Risk CRO and leadership team to ensure the organization is anticipating and delivering against a wide range of requests. You will be asked to own initiatives and projects that are cross-functional in nature, spanning all of Card Risk as well as LOB and functional partners. You will need a broad skillset as responsibilities range from directing strategic and tactical execution to general management and communications responsibilities. You will be asked to own initiatives that are cross-functional in nature and require you to be focused on process, details and delivering results. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical skills. Your ability to influence senior leaders and to collaborate closely with a variety of internal stakeholders across various levels and functions within the organization is a key factor to your success in the role.

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide support and work closely with the Card Risk leadership team in planning and directing strategic, operational and administrative activities to meet business objectives

+ Responsible for driving core business planning activities and strategic initiatives on behalf of the Card Risk, including broad communication of strategic direction and implications

+ Ensure tight coordination, proactive management, and on-time delivery of key deliverables

+ Project manage and execute key initiatives

+ Provide strategic input and develop recommendation on all organizational structure and resource allocation needs

+ Facilitate communication with internal and external partner to understand issues and effectively work to solve any problems, as needed

+ Must be able to handle confidential information in a professional manner

+ Ensure all periodic reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and functional review processes are executed; ensure accountability and completion of action items from reviews

+ Build and maintain relationships with peers inside and outside the organization and ensure strong collaboration across teams

Minimum Skills, Experience and Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

+ Must have prior project management experience, including experience turning findings into executable plans

+ Demonstrated excellent analytical, problem resolution, and decision-making skills

+ Superior judgment, team building, and presentation skills

+ Flexibility to work under continual deadline pressure required

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Adaptability to deal with ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment

+ Ability to manage multiple simultaneous objectives is imperative
