Create a collaborative and transparent environment that helps deliver business value in a quick and iterative fashion. Collaboration, relationship-building, communication and leadership are key aspects of the Product Owner role. The ultimate purpose of the Product Owner is to understand the Stakeholder needs, prioritize those needs based on business value and communicate those to the Technology Delivery Team so they can continuously improve the product.

Colorado Candidates: Pay range for this role is $75,000-$100,000 annually

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Maximizing the value of the product by delivering a backlog to the team.

+ Creating and prioritizing user stories in product backlog, delivering the highest business value and aligning to the product roadmap

+ Collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and acceptance criteria.

+ Communicating the value of the backlog to the delivery team and collaborating to deliver that value to stakeholders.

+ Challenging the team to meet commitments and deliver increased value over time.

+ Creating product documentation, partnering with the delivery team, tech writers and training.

+ Facilitating creativity and shepherding the innovation process with the team.

+ Developing a deep understanding of the product and business

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or related fields and/or commensurate experience. Master’s degree beneficial.

EXPERIENCE:

1. 2+ years’ experience using an Agile methodology

2. 2+ years’ experience as an Agile Product Owner preferred

3. Proven experience working with Senior Executives required

4. 2+ years’ student loan experience preferred
