Sr. Manager/Specialist position assigned to either a role in Project Controls, Line Of Business, Cost/Planning Services, Regional Office Project Controls Lead or a combination. This level includes the most technically competent level of project controls/contract administration, and supervisory personnel. Supervises work of others. Responsible for overall performance management. May be responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.
Senior Manager leading a business area, regional office or global area.Able to influence B&V clients and able to lead a project controls program management work scope. Leads training and development of professionals.
+ Leads project control teams on highest complexity projects.
+ Assists LOB PCMs and/or services managers in major activities as needed.
+ Identifies opportunities for improving project controls processes and systems.
+ Provides business services for major projects and capture of major projects.
+ Interfaces with project teams and Directors to ensure project controls supports execution.
+ Coordinates resource requirements with services managers and department head.
+ Provides leadership in identifying and addressing major department issues.
Regional Office/Group Managing:
+ Leads div project controls process and systems development.
+ Collaborates with the regional office management team to achieve maximum value contribution.
+ Provides leadership to development of regional plans for project controls support on projects in support of regional execution office and project field sites within region for multiple LOBs.
Prefer Master’s degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management. Experience serving in a Leadership role for a large EPC project in both Home Office and Field preferred.
Four-year Bachelor’s degree with fifeteen or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor’s degree required with eighteen years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office with a certificate from either PMI or AACE.
