Program Director
 Description/Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for ensuring the creation of an environment conducive to the provision of service for the individuals supported by the program, including providing supervision to ensure adherence to program regulations. The Program Director is held accountable for ensuring that the program is managed and held to the highest standards. This includes clinical quality, quality assurance, financial management, funder requirements, recruitment and retention, communications, compliance, revenue cycle, and general program operations. Leadership, Staff Management and Organizational Strategy
Supervises program staff and maintains an organizational culture and services where professionalism, quality care, employee engagement and empowerment, and services that further RHD's values are recognized and rewarded.
Ensure that the program team is knowledgeable about the corporate strategic and service line operational initiatives and provides an understanding of each initiative and how it relates directly to their program.
Develops and monitors programs using metrics to ensure quality staff support, oversight, and development throughout the program.
Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation, and disciplinary process for all employees.
Ensures the program is filling staffing vacancies in partnership with the HR Team and according to regulation.

Quality Assurance
Collaborates with the Service line Clinical Directors to ensure that services are trauma informed, person centered and ensuring that the recognized best practices, including Evidence Based Practices are implemented.
Collaborates with the Quality Assurance Team in the implementation of initiatives supporting the related RHD Strategic Objectives and other corporate wide clinical initiatives.
Ensures that all consumers have current and appropriate Individual Support Plans or treatment plans in place, that their needs are met, and that they are being enabled to experience the highest level of independence and/or recovery possible.
Provide emergency on call direction and crisis management
Provides and models active, leadership presence in each program site through on-site visitation and virtual experiences.
Finance, Development, and Other Operations
Works with the program staff and revenue cycle team to ensure that all individuals supported have current authorizations and that all services and related documentation is completed in a timely fashion and/or entered into the electronic health record where available and and according to policy .
Assists in the resolution of outstanding/unpaid services and claims.
Oversees and authorizes program financial processes, expenditures, and transactions, including but not limited to accounts payable, payroll, and consumer funds, to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Communicates funder/government information to the program team to ensure understanding and compliance and attend local funder/government meetings, as requested by the Regional Director and/or Service Line Director.
Monitors and ensures regulatory compliance.

Required Experience

3 years of experience in a human service agency, including supervision of others, direct service and program planning. 
 Required Education

Bachelor's degree with a major in human services or business management. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
 Required Qualifications

Knowledge of and compliance with the State, Federal, and Funder Regulations as applicable.
Criminal record clearances, as dictated by the assigned programs.
