Software Engineer [MR-SE-HGM-005106]
JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Software Engineer in Wilmington, DE.
Job Duties: Design, develop and deploy software applications that are aligned with the business and technology strategies and meets requirements of the business. Research and resolve application issues. Test and validate results against requirements in a development environment. Understand the business process and system architecture. Validate the unit test results provided by developers against detailed designs. Participate in design refactoring and enhancement of critical components. Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge of the application as and when required through interactions and documents. Participate in code reviews to ensure all standards and business needs are met. Drive technical projects in the development team.
Job Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, IT Analyst, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Requires experience in the following: Cloud Services; Java; JSON; Oracle; SVN; UNIX; Dynatrace; Javascript; Junit; Microservices; Performance Testing; REST; Shell Scripting; Splunk; GIT; Jenkins; SOAP web services; Apache Tomcat; JQuery; Linux; Software Development; SQL; XML; and Progress 4GL/OpenEdge.
