Reporting to the NA Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator I is responsible for managing the freight payment process and providing reports for internal customers: Finance, Supply Chain Leadership, Pricing, Procurement, etc. Also responsible for other support functions such as shipment tracking, carrier compliance and document retention.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for resolving freight invoice discrepancies, reporting on trends, working with external 3rd party payment company (CASS) an internal freight payment group in India, working with carriers to resolve late payment and balance due invoices, monitoring freight controls, working with carrier to ensure following correct billing procedures
Responsible for providing cost reports, monthly customer cost reports, reason for invoice rejection and other ad hoc reporting requests
Responsible for monitoring 3rd party tracking information and supporting Customer Service and Commercial teams with pro-active shipment information
Responsible for maintaining carrier master, ensuring all carrier pricing is on file and up to date by working with Procurement.
Contribute to analysis to carrier invoice aging and why invoices are not being timely processed.




H.S Diploma or GED required
College Degree preferred
Prefer 2-5 years previous experience in logistics; SAP experience desired
Knowledge of logistics, carriers, pricing and trucking practices
