Position Summary
The Solution Enablement Engineer role will provide support to the go-to-market team in the management of multiple complex processes related to go-to-market and sales engagement efforts. The role will interface cross-functionally with internal and external business-stake holders across technology, infrastructure, and product verticals in support of Core-as-a-Service adoption. In tandem, it will entail working directly with go-to-market leadership to provide industry, product and technical expertise towards market positioning of the Core-as-a-Service solution. This role will be also tasked with establishing in-depth functional understanding of the CaaS, its interfacing capabilities, and integration with other ancillary, best-of-breed, core surround components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The type of activities expected to be performed at this level include, but are not limited to:
+ Contribute to and/or lead general overview presentations, and demonstrations, of the CaaS solution covering a broad range of technical subject matter.
+ Perform detailed, demonstrations in support of specific CaaS capabilities in support of highly specific customer core banking requirements.
+ Contribute to, and as needed, own product functionality/technology related marketing and sales collateral.
+ Commercial awareness of pricing models and related aspects of the sales process.
+ Contribute to and/or lead initial scoping efforts related to technology as it relates to each unique sales engagement.
+ Translating requirements into technical specifications/requirements.
+ Obtain an in-depth understanding of technology and its underlying architecture.
+ Contribute to design, creation, and on-going maintenance of sales reference architecture collateral.
+ Work in collaboration with internal, and external, resources to define prospect target state architecture and document accordingly.
+ Design functional and technical demonstrations that illustrate the capabilities of the solution.
+ Organize and/or lead RFP/RFI response efforts in support of sales engagements.
+ Collaborate with product and technology teams to ensure customer/prospect technology requirements are being addressed.
+ Support, and coordinate, prospect access to CaaS API sandboxes. Ensuring successful trials of the API driven solution. Providing integration support for proof-of-concept (POC) engagement for ancillary core functionality.
+ Provide subject matter expertise as it related to general technology modernization within the banking and payments industries.
+ Develop a deep understanding, and demonstrate, a broad range of use-cases involving the full suite of APIs and related integration patterns to ancillary core technology (including Finxact and Fiserv ecosystem partners).
+ Provide prospect sales-cycle support around a broad range of topics including, but not limited to: SDLC and CI/CD, REST API orchestration and integration patterns, file-based interfaces, Cloud Adoption and Infrastructure, Infrastructure Security, Kubernetes and Docker, Data Model Support, Golang, Domain Specific Language and Business Rules, extensibility, microservices, payment networks, ETL, microservices architecture, SQL, Jscript, and relational databases.
Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications
+ A bachelor’s degree is required. Comparable work experience will be considered.
+ Additional consideration will be given to technology focused undergraduate and graduate degrees (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology,
+ Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, etc.)
+ Financial, payments and core banking software experience. Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) experience is also a plus.
+ Familiarity with modern SDLC processes including CI/CD and Agile frameworks.
+ 4+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, financial technology consulting, software engineering, banking technology and/or applicable banking/financial industry roles.
+ In-depth knowledge of internal bank processes, and technology, related to retail and commercial banking industries.
+ Possess a solid understanding of RESTful web services, API design, API orchestration and systems integration.
+ Professional experience with Web/API development
+ Understanding of functional, imperative and object-oriented languages
+ Knowledge of the Golang programming language is ideal, but not required
+ Familiarity with the banking industry technology landscape; especially those utilities/technologies related to enabling the CaaS solution.
+ Possesses a good understanding of cloud computing infrastructure (i.e., Azure, AWS and Google), Kubernetes, infrastructure security, scalability and architecture.

Location/Travel
+ Remote (telecommute) position within the contiguous United States.
+ Up to 10%-20% travel may be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary but generally Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.
