Christiana Surgery Center is currently recruiting for an upbeat PACU RN who wants to be a part of a growing PACU team. Who is passionate about providing excellent clinical outcomes through caring service to our patients and their families. The position will include all areas such as Prep and Recovery for surgery in a fast-paced and constantly evolving hospital environment. In addition, the candidate will possess the skills related to hemodynamic monitoring and support for pediatrics, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, (e.g. Pacemakers, A lines etc.), pain management (e.g., PCA, epidural), to Vascular Access Device management, cardiac monitoring, and airway management. Willing to rotate through Prep and Recovery (Phase I and Phase II)
This is a full-time day shift position - Monday - Friday **NO weekends**, 40 hours a week position. The selected candidate will need to be flexible and able to work hours between 6a - 7p (8-hour shifts).
ACLS and PALS required
Commitment to obtaining within three years of the date of hire.
Current RN licensure required,
MUST HAVE at least 2 years of RN experience, PACU experience preferred (Critical Care, Emergency Department, or high acuity step-down backgrounds)
The successful candidate may be eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus to be paid over a period of 12 months.
