Job Description

Acara Solutions is looking for a Procurement Data Analyst for our Client located in Newark, DE
Will eventually work Hybrid:2 days onsite / 3 days remote
Will be working with 4 other buyers and 2 procurement specialists on the team
Analyses and constantly optimizes the organizations processes to enhance performance.
Establishes, monitors, updates, and benchmarks metrics, and derives and proposes measures to improve.
Provides analyses as by Supply Chain Management.
Proposes and takes over responsibility for defined and assigned improvement projects.
Initiates and implements supplier improvement programs.
Establishes operational vendor relations, identifies and resolves vendor conflicts.
Establishes SCM oriented customer relations in order to meet customer expectations.
Cooperates with the internal Procurement, Controlling and Logistics functions to ensure acceptance of and adherence to SC processes, guidelines, and tools.
Communicates with external auditors in accordance with the superior.
Contributes to projects, work groups and the training of new employees in the area of expertise.
Improves existing processes and approaches.
Pay and Benefits:

The Salary for this position is $41.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).


Required Skills / Qualifications:
At least a High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years' of purchasing experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence.
SAP
Have data analyst skills/raw material buyer/purchasing products quickly
Strong MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues can customers
Must be self-motivated, well-rounded and able to take initiative in speaking up with suggestions to improve processes
Additional Information:

Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
Position will start with full-time onsite training with manager; after training it will be hybrid: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote
