Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to work as the interface of multiple functions to manage and lead projects in Chemistries and Supplies Divisions CSD. The focus will be on handling and leading critical new product development projects to enable growth for CSD but also provides an opportunity as part of the Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE) to work on other projects to support the business. This position reports directly to the CSD Project Management - Operating Manager.
This is a high-visibility role within CSD with the opportunity to engage with all functions that support CSD!  Specific Responsibilities include:
Lead multiple projects as assigned by the CSD Project Management - Operating Manager.
Accountable for overall project objectives and execution of projects they directly lead.
Responsible for overall project planning, objectives and execution of the project team.
Facilitates cross-functional discussions and alignment to common Projects goals.
Handles communications within team and stakeholder management across all functions.
Works with division leadership and functional managers to address project team issues.
Updates project status reports in project dashboards and Product Group roadmaps.
Collaborate with Product Group points-of-contact in Marketing, OFS and R-D on Roadmap planning.
As member of PMCoE, support implementation of Portfolio Management and share best practices within the team to support Project Manager development.  This role is office based where CSD has a footprint in Little Falls, DE or Santa Clara, CA with a hybrid model optional. Other locations near Agilent sites may be considered.

Bachelor or Master degree in Chemistry, Engineering or Life Sciences.
8+ years of experience in the chemical or life science industry.
4+ years of project management experience.
Strong interpersonal skills in collaborating and networking.
Demonstrated skill in meeting facilitation, project planning and stakeholder management.
Demonstrated delivery of customer solutions by redefining broad concepts into structured programs.
Technical background in Spectroscopy, Chromatography, Chemical/Biological Standards, or Life Science.  Preferred:
Agilent Consumables business experience.
Experience leading Product Life Cycle projects.
PMI-PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.
Advanced degree (MS, Ph.D., MBA).
