This position is remote. However, candidates may be required on occasion to visit the local office when/if needed. Candidates must reside in a state where there is a DLA Piper office.
Knowledge Technology Analysts support databases and legal technology platforms for the Knowledge department, including data quality review and analysis. Analysts coordinate with management, vendors, consultants, and IT to troubleshoot issues and ensure the tools are functioning optimally. They are responsible for maintaining detailed and accurate documentation; providing user support and training; and, serving as the primary project manager on upgrades and other system changes. For the current opening we are specifically looking for an individual to support our experience database.
+ High school diploma
+ 3 years’ experience in technical support, working with both end users at all levels (including senior management) and vendors/contractors to resolve issues
+ Experience with normalization and standardization of data
+ Strong project management skills and attention to detail
+ Must be creative, flexible, capable of solving complex problems, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a larger diverse team
+ Experience working in Intapp Experience or similar database
+ Experience in a technical role at a law firm or legal software company
+ Understanding of SQL, XML, JSON and REST APIs
What will your day look like?
As a Knowledge Technology Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the firm’s experience tracking database. You should be completely comfortable in navigating the platform, and able to perform extensive system searches and provide reports in a timely manner. The responsibilities for this role include troubleshooting the system, training users across all professional levels (from legal secretary to partner, from 1-on-1 calls to large group presentations) on the platform, project managing upgrades, and working with vendor support to fix any system issues. Responsibilities also include importing data, making changes to the intake form, maintaining integrations with other systems, and collaborating with other departments to ensure data accuracy and integrity. This database is global, so you will also be working with technical resources and users outside the United States.
As part of the Knowledge department – which includes Knowledge Management, Research and Litigation Support – you will also have the opportunity to collaborate on other technology projects as part of our mission to help our lawyers practice smarter.
