Under close supervision, performs routine aspects of estimating assignments requiring knowledge of basic estimating principles.
The EDGE Program provides early-career professionals a unique combination of approximately 3 rotational job over 3-4 years, structured training curriculum, and direct access to senior-level business leaders. The program is designed to accelerate career progression and broaden the development of participants promoting a successful career at BV.
+ Develops and/or compiles discipline material take-offs (MTOs) . Enters the information into the Estimating software for inclusion in an estimate . The individual may be exposed to other aspects of estimating as required . Individual contributor with no subordinates
+ BS or MS graduate in Construction Management or related field is preferred, but not required
+ Field and/or project experience is a plus
+ Preferred Skills: . Basic estimating principles . Mathematical skills . Analytical skills . Interpret and understand specifications . Attention to detail . Problem solving skills . Calculator . Microsoft Excel . Microsoft Access
0 to 1 year of relevant experience is required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
+ Must have a Bachelors (or more advanced degree)
+ Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
+ Must have less than 2 years professional experience relevant to BV, Internship experience does not count toward maximum of 2 years
+ Open to performing various functions and relocating as needed over the next 3-4 years
+ Required intermittent travel to project sites
+ Required short-term and/or long-term relocation to project sites and regional offices
+ Additional criteria for selection will be based on interview responses that demonstrate ability for success, and awareness of the importance of continual development and growth
+ All applicants must have work authorization and will not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa
