Ally Credit Card is ateam that has combined the experience of seasoned talent from across the card industry with advanced analytical and machine learning techniques to develop and optimize our business. Ourintegrated and entrepreneurial team built the business up from scratch in 2016 to 1MM plus customers, with significant growth opportunities in the future.This is your opportunity to join our diverse and innovative Ally Credit Card team as we focus on growing the business and delivering compelling products that focus on doing the right thing for our customers.

Manager – Card Operations Reporting & Analytics will utilize credit card data and analytics to help better understand customer behavior, identify trends, and opportunities for improvement. This includes the ability to analyze large-scale data sets to derive business insights and identify potential issues, develop analysis plans, and collaborates with different teams to design, develop, generate, and validate self-service reports, extracts, and visualizations. Additionally, will help develop critical reporting in support of various operational business units.

The Work Itself

+ Analyze end to end customer behavioral trends and identify opportunities to help optimize business needs.

+ Drive strategy and process enhancements across key lines of the card business such as: contact channel preference, customer service, collections and fraud.

+ Develop and implement analytical frameworks to monitor operational performance.

+ Collaborate with Business Owners to understand operational reporting needs including the identification of business problems, service levels and KPIs.

+ Support Business Line Risk by writing SQL queries to identify process exceptions and test review populations

The Skills You Bring

+ 3-5+ years of credit card experience with sound understanding of business operations.

+ 3-5+ years reporting and analytics experience with the demonstrated ability to analyze and generate reports using applicable business systems that accurately and efficiently reflect business results, trends, issues and compliance.

+ Candidate must be comfortable working hands-on with large analytical datasets to perform complex analysis and extract business insights.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with strong business judgement and an ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner.

+ Proven ability to compile and present data for the business areas that address specific process related questions or issues.

+ Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau skills

+ Ability to work across multiple lines of business and effectively prioritize tasks.

+ Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ High degree of initiative with strong drive for results.

+ Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent preferred
